Who and what is Moreality?

Well first off Moreality is a conglomeration of five very different personalities and musical ideas:

• Jeff Davis — Keyboards/Vocals
• Joe Davis — Guitars/Vocals
• Mike Fine — Bass
• Jeff Fish — Guitars/Vocals
• Bill Ziegler — Drums/Vocals

And secondly what is Moreality? Well that is a little more difficult... Moreality first came about with two ideas in mind.

• First was to play original music, write the type of music that we wanted to hear.
• Second was to play songs and the type of rock and roll that you don't hear live much, musicianship would be at a premium.

Moreality thrives in giving people the unexpected. Combining a melodic approach to songwriting with some old-school psychedelic rock styling Moreality weaves time signature changes, tight instrumental interplay, and multiple vocal harmonies into songs with a familiar flair. We love to hear "you just don't hear bands play like that anymore" or "on what album did that Pink Floyd song come from?" (especially when it's one of your songs...). That is who and what we're about, exceeding expectations. There have been so many great songs written in the past that we're just trying to expose some of them to daylight again as well as getting our own music out. That is one of the reasons that as soon as we are releasing our first album "Open," we're ready to start recording our second album. "Red Barchetta," "LA Woman," "Four Sticks," and "Brain Damage/Eclipse" are only some the cover tunes that Moreality plays live on a nightly basis. So why not stick to the norm? Because it's what is expected and we don't want to be that predictable, our love of the rock and roll genre goes wide and deep. There are more than three songs written by any number of great bands in the past, but again, that is what most people expect. Delivering the unexpected, that is what we do.
